Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Salford
Pay Range: £89-£93 per day
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Reeson education have an exciting opportunity for an EYFS teaching assistant to join a wonderful, thriving team in a primary school in Salford.
This teaching assistant opportunity is to begin as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year, you will then have the chance to transfer on to a school contract directly.
This is to support as a general teaching assistant within the early years in an outstanding two form entry primary school located in the heart of a vibrant and thriving community.
This is to work Monday to Friday; each week and the hours will be 8am until 3:30pm with a 30-minute dinner break.
EYFS Teaching Assistant responsibilities:
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver lessons and activities following the EYFS framework
- Deliver group activities and interventions as directed by the class teacher
- Communicate effectively, professionally and in a friendly manner with staff, pupils, and parents
- Promote inclusion for all pupils and support the management of pupil behaviour
- Provide additional support for children as required and monitor and track progress of pupils ensuring strong communication with the class teacher
EYFS Teaching Assistant qualifications/experience:
- A minimum of 3 months' work/volunteer experience with children or young people
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant/childcare.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents.
- Attributes: A passion for supporting children's education, a proactive approach, and a willingness to adapt to different school environments.
- Safeguarding: A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
