Teaching Assistant Key Details
- Position: Teaching Assistant
- Location: Manchester area
- Pay: £85-£105 per day (adjusted accordingly for hours working)
- Hours: Minimum of 6.5 hours per day, working hours are usually between 8am and 4pm- you will be informed of exact hours for each shift)
- Duration: Daily and short-term cover
Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant
- Provide general classroom support to teachers, assisting with lesson delivery and activities.
- Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support children's learning and development.
- Support pupils with SEND or additional needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
- Adapt to new school environments and effectively build relationships with staff and pupils.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere in the classroom.
What We're Looking For in our Teaching Assistants:
- Hardworking, reliable, and flexible individuals passionate about education.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (paid or voluntary).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude to fit into various school settings.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
