Reeson Education is partnering with an exciting alternative provision in the M30 area, seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team! This Teaching Assistant role will involve working with SEN/SEMH pupils aged 8/9 to 16 years, helping them navigate their educational journey and reach their full potential.

About the Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting SEN/SEMH pupils with a range of additional needs. This Teaching Assistant role is all about creating a supportive, understanding environment where each student can thrive. You'll help implement personalized learning plans, manage classroom behaviour, and support individual development in small groups or 1:1 sessions.

Key Responsibilities:* Support SEN/SEMH pupils in their learning journey across a variety of subjects.* Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs.* Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils develop social skills.* Work closely with the teaching team to implement personalized learning plans (IEPs).* Assist in classroom management and fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment.* Provide support with emotional and behavioural needs, promoting a calm atmosphere.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant will:* Have experience working with SEN/SEMH pupils, ideally in an alternative provision setting.* Be passionate, patient, and empathetic when working with young people with complex needs.* Be able to build positive relationships and inspire confidence in students.* Be flexible, adaptable, and committed to making a difference in the lives of students.* Have excellent communication skills, both with students and colleagues.
