Position: Teaching AssistantLocation: M41, TraffordStart Date: ASAPSalary: £12.83 - £14.54 per hourHours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Reeson Education is working with a welcoming two-form entry primary school in the M41 area to find a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil with mild ASD and MLD. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, offering the chance to provide one-to-one support and make a real impact in a child's learning journey.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:

• Work as a Teaching Assistant supporting a bright and engaging Year 2 pupil
• Break down tasks into manageable steps, ensuring understanding and engagement

• Encourage confidence, build social skills, and support friendship development
• Create a calm and reassuring presence to ease the pupil's anxiety

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:

• A passion for supporting children in their learning and social development

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable
• Ability to build trust and rapport with pupils, especially those with additional needs
