Reeson Education is looking for a confident and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist primary SEN school in Salford (M30). This is a full-time, long-term role supporting pupils across all primary age groups with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Team Teach training is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Support pupils with SEMH needs as a teaching assistant across all primary year groups.
- Assist with classroom learning, behaviour support, and emotional regulation.
- Work 1:1 and in small groups as a teaching assistant to build confidence and engagement.
- Use Team Teach strategies to manage challenging behaviours effectively.
- Create a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to implement tailored support plans.
Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN/SEMH needs in a school or alternative setting.
- Team Teach training (Essential).
- A resilient, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children with complex needs.
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
- Commitment to a full-time, long-term role in a specialist SEN setting.
