Join Tradewind Recruitment, a leading provider of dedicated educational support staff, as we recruit compassionate and skilled SEND Teaching Assistants to work with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) children. These children are new to school and require one-to-one support to thrive in their educational journey.

About the Role:

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in:

  • Providing personalised one-to-one support for EYFS children with SEND.
  • Assisting non-verbal children with communication through alternative methods.
  • Offering personal care support, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene.
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and specialists to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young children, ideally within an educational or care setting.

  • Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
