About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in New Moston. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality education, helping students to reach their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment. This is a long-term placement, with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons across various subjects
- Support students with individual needs, including those with special educational needs
- Provide one-to-one and small group support
- Help maintain a positive and effective learning environment
- Monitor and track students' progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a professional capacity (essential)
- A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to motivate students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A passion for education and supporting young people
