About the Teaching Assistant Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, providing support in both academic and personal development. You'll work with small groups or 1:1, helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be patient, compassionate, and dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment.

What You'll Do as a Teaching Assistant:* Support students in small groups or 1:1 with their learning and personal development.* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural strategies to support pupils.* Assist with personal care where required.* Encourage positive behaviour, social interaction, and confidence.* Work closely with the teaching team to provide a dynamic, supportive learning environment.* Help create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where each pupil feels valued and supported.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:* Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEN).* Compassionate, patient, and adaptable attitude.* Strong communication skills and team player mentality.* Ability to build trusting relationships with students.* A valid driving license (advantageous but not essential).
