Forever Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in North Manchester. This exciting opportunity involves providing general classroom support and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) assistance, ensuring all children receive the best possible learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to primary-aged children.
  • Provide tailored support for students with SEND, ensuring their inclusion and participation in class activities.
  • Assist with classroom management and the organization of learning resources.
  • Work closely with small groups or individual students to support their learning and development.
  • Help to monitor and assess students’ progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
  • Support students during break times and school activities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a classroom setting.
  • Understanding of SEND needs and how to support students with additional learning requirements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children's education.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
  • DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
