Reeson Education is working with a fantastic primary school in the M35 area to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 class on a full-time, long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide classroom support as a teaching assistant to KS1 pupils in core subjects
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to boost confidence and progress
  • Help foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support children in developing key skills such as problem-solving and communication
  • Encourage independence, resilience, and a love of learning

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:

  • Passion for supporting young learners
  • Ability to adapt and engage pupils of all abilities
  • Experience working with children in a classroom setting (desirable)
  • A positive, patient, and proactive approach
