Strategic Lead for Alternative Provision & Inclusion - Great Manchester LA

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Office Based

What we need from you:

  • You will play a key role in developing inclusive practice, reducing exclusions and supporting vulnerable cohorts to access Alternative Provision within schools and beyond.
  • Your expertise in the SEND Code of Practice, Alternative Provision, and the Area SEND Inspection Frameworkwill be vital.
  • Embed inter-relational working practice between AP and other parts of the local system, including mainstream education, SEN and disability (SEND), early help and social care, and local health services
  • To support schools to commission quality alternative provision and develop LA commissioning arrangements alongside SEND colleagues.

Must Have:

  • Local Authority experience is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience within a similar SEND role is essential.
