JOB – EC&I Design EngineerLOCATION – Greater Manchester   TERM – Permanent SALARY – Circa £40,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience (junior levels considered).A Greater Manchester based company are looking for an EC&I Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The EC&I Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • HNC or equivalent Electrical Engineering qualification.
  • Previous experience producing schematics for electrical design.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a C&I Engineer or relevant role.
  • Good PLC understanding – ideally siemens TIA Portal.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
The duties & responsibilities will include:
  • Leading the electrical design of equipment.
  • Creating & developing electrical design & electrical wiring schematics.
  • Producing BoMs.
  • Supporting other engineers when required.
  • Liaising with other teams to ensure standards are being met.
