The company in Greater Manchester is seeking an EC&I Design Engineer for a permanent position.
The salary for this role ranges from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, with junior levels also considered.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a C&I Engineer or relevant role, along with an HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
Key responsibilities include leading electrical design, developing schematics, producing BoMs, and supporting other engineers.
A good understanding of PLCs, particularly Siemens TIA Portal, is preferred, along with the ability to work independently or in a team.

JOB – EC&I Design EngineerLOCATION – Greater Manchester TERM – Permanent SALARY – circa £40,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience (junior levels considered).A Greater Manchester based company are looking for an EC&I Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The EC&I Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

HNC or equivalent Electrical Engineering qualification.
Previous experience producing schematics for electrical design.
At least 2 years’ experience as a C&I Engineer or relevant role.
Good PLC understanding – ideally siemens TIA Portal.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The duties & responsibilities will include:

Leading the electrical design of equipment.
Creating & developing electrical design & electrical wiring schematics.
Producing BoMs.
Supporting other engineers when required.
Liaising with other teams to ensure standards are being met.
