About the Role: An industry leader within Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of advanced electrical systems. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to innovation and excellence.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems, circuit diagrams, and control panels.
- Analyse project specifications to create designs adhering to quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Utilise CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN) for schematic design and layout planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems.
- Conduct simulations, testing, and troubleshooting to validate and optimise designs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in electrical design engineering.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
