Electrical Project Engineer - (Outside IR35)

18-month contract, to work on an Energy from Waste plant, on site driving the design quality through the installation phase.

Salary: - 360 - 380 per day

Role Description

The Resolute Group are supporting an M&E contractor with the ECIA installation package as part of a new build Energy from Waste scheme. With the programme entering the M&E fit-out stage, the programme is moving to an Electrical and Mechanical skill set.

One key position we are looking for is an Electrical Project Engineer, someone to be the interface between the design and delivery teams. Supporting the design consultancies with modifications, then ensuring all the designs are recorded correctly on the document management system.

Pulling together the key stakeholders when it comes to the technical delivery of the project, with day-to-day duties including:

  • Working with the team regarding Electrical issues and following the reporting process.
  • Scheduling and tracking of the project modifications.
  • Creation of installed drawings and O&M Manuals.
  • Organising draft contracts and quotes
  • Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Reviewing project documentation, drawings and calculations as required

This is predominantly a site-based role but there will be opportunities to work from home as the programme allows.

Required Experience

  • HNC / HND or Degree - Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in the Power, Energy, Water, Oil & Gas sectors undertaking a similar type of role
