Electrical Field Engineer

Electrical Field Engineer RequiredManchesterFull-time contract roleShorterm is currently looking to recruit an Electrical Field Engineer on behalf of their client who is a specialist electrical & instrumentation services contractors providing engineering, construction, commissioning and maintenance services.This role is a long term contract role which will require travel.**Key Responsibilities:**- Prepare technical submittals and builders work drawings.- Schedule and track project timelines.- Create record drawings and design drawings, including alterations to working drawings.- Develop installed drawings and O&M Manuals.- Process requisitions, generate purchase orders, and confirm deliveries.- Collaborate with suppliers to secure cost-effective pricing.- Organize draft contracts and quotes.- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.- Review project documentation, drawings, and calculations as needed.- Manage all other duties associated with the role.**Requirements:**- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.- Proven track record in coordinating projects.- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project.- Excellent time management, prioritisation, and communication skills.- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet strict deadlines.- Strong capability to drive large-scale projects.- Construction background is preferred.
