This role is ideal for a strong electrical maintenance engineer with a strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical systems, particularly within a manufacturing or industrial setting. A practical problem-solver with a commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement will thrive here. Strong PLC fault finding skills are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
* Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, ensuring safety compliance.
* Maintain mechanical components and utilities, including conveyors and compressors.
* Collaborate with the production team to optimise machine performance.
* Lead installation projects for new equipment and manage contractor oversight.
The company offers a very rewarding package, including a generous salary of up to 50,000 with massive overtime potential, 24 days' holiday allowance (6 weeks), company sick pay, and standard pension contributions-all for a 4-day week (Mon-Thurs).
