Time Recruitment Solutions are excited to support a UK-based manufacturer specializing in high-specification insulating glazing sealed units and toughened-laminated glass. A long-standing, family-run business, they have grown significantly and are now expanding their team to meet increasing demand.

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, performing both reactive maintenance and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM). This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company that values technical expertise and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on machinery and equipment.
  • Handle reactive maintenance and respond to breakdowns swiftly to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
  • Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Assist in maintaining electrical systems in line with safety and operational standards.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
  • Record and report all maintenance activities accurately.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Electrically biased with a solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and fault-finding techniques.
  • Ability to handle both reactive and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with 17th / 18th Edition wiring regulations (preferred but not essential).
  • Background in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable.

Shift Pattern

  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday
