Venn Group Electronic Design Engineer SC Cleared (active or eligible, can start on BPSS) 6 month initial contract On-site - North West (4-5 days a week onsite, possibility for remote work occasionally) £60-£65 p/h (Inside IR35, Umbrella)

Our market-leading client require a Test Design Support Engineer to join them on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the interface between design and manufacturing teams whilst working alongside support engineers to provide knowledge and support
  • Play a key role in the support of production activities at the state of the art manufacturing facilities
  • Work on advanced programmes and subsystems as well as support launcher assemblies
  • Provide scope and development in areas of electronics

Skills Required:

  • Background in electronic engineering
  • Proven experience in the design of one or more of the following disciplines:

-            Digital and Analogue electronics

-            Power Electronics

-            RF & Antenna

-            Interconnects

-            Safety Electronics

-            Test Systems

-            Schematic design

-            PCB Design

-            Adherence to BS EN Standards

  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to find Root Causes of design related issues and propose robust Corrective Actions
