Field Service Engineer – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

This is an exciting opportunity and would suit someone who has worked within a Field Service Engineering role prior or Operations Engineer role, working across battery energy grid storage, would also be advantage if the individual has worked across HV, PV, Wind and other Renewable technologies.  

What You Will Do:

· Maintain Energy Storage Systems to the highest standard through regular inspection, maintenance, and annual capacity tests.· Perform system software and firmware upgrades, ensuring optimal performance.· Provide phone support and remote diagnostics to customers, offering solutions with precision.· Troubleshoot equipment located at various sites, showcasing your problem-solving skills.· Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring all necessary components are readily available for maintenance tasks.· Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures, adhering to local safety regulations and standards.

What You Will Bring:

· A qualification in an electrical/electro-mechanical discipline, paving the way for your technical expertise.· Previous electrical or multi-skilled maintenance experience, demonstrating your hands-on capabilities.· Basic IT skills (Word Processing, Outlook, Excel), essential for software troubleshooting.· A proactive approach to safety, with qualifications for working on site safely.· Flexibility to travel to different sites, including overnight stays or international travel as required.
