Your Role:
As a Senior/Lead Electrical Design Engineer, you will scope, design, and oversee the implementation of electrical HV/LV systems for renewable energy projects, including solar PV and battery energy storage systems. From concept design to handover, you'll collaborate closely with a talented team to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of HV/LV connections for PV plants
- Provide technical support from project initiation through commissioning
- Conduct site surveys and installation quality checks
- Collaborate with engineers across various teams and disciplines
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years' experience in HV/LV distribution power systems, preferably in renewable energy
- Strong knowledge of UK grid connection standards (G99, G100)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and cable sizing software
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Additional Skills:
- Experience with solar PV systems and battery energy storage systems
- Knowledge of British Standards, electrical design, and control systems
- Ability to work on-site as needed
