4.Work extensively on the Erema extrusion machine, allocating 50% of time to preventative maintenance.
5.Manage and maintain the PRP small extrusion machine, an Italian-designed apparatus.
6.Oversee maintenance tasks for the Apostrolle Identifier Machine.
7.Maintain two granulating machines in optimal working condition.
8.Attend to small machines within the wash plant, ensuring efficient operation.
9.Collaborate with the team to enhance overall machinery performance and efficiency.
10.Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all maintenance activities.
Experience and Qualifications:
1.Mechanical and electrical engineering background with a focus on waste management.
2.Proven experience in both reactive and preventative maintenance practices.
3.Specialized knowledge in electrical maintenance (70%) and mechanical maintenance (30%).
4.Previous work experience in waste management or plastic manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
5.Familiarity with the Erema extrusion machine, PRP small extrusion machine, Apostrolle Identifier Machine, granulating machines, and wash plant operations.
6.Experience working with Italian-designed machinery is advantageous.
7.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively.
8.Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
9.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
10.Flexibility to work Monday to Friday with an occasional Saturday as required by statutory regulations.
