Our client is looking for a skilled mobile Powered Access Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid CAP qualification and have a strong understanding of powered access equipment. As a key member of their mobile team, you will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment. Mobile Powered Access Engineer Job Overview- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicle-mounted powered access equipment covering the North West.
- Carry out LOLER inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide breakdown support and emergency repairs on-site.
- Work closely with the service team to schedule routine maintenance and servicing.
- Keep accurate service records and reports using company systems.
- Liaise with customers to ensure high-quality service and minimal downtime.
- Previous experience in a similar position
- CAP (Competent Assessed Person) qualification mandatory
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Full UK driving license (essential).
- Up to £19.50 an hour dependant on experience
- 40-hour week basic
