Multiskilled Engineer - Electrical Bias

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will:

• Lead electrical tasks and assist with mechanical issues to ensure plant machinery is compliant with regulations.
• Carry out reactive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on conveyors, balers, compactors, shredders, and other machinery.
• Participate in annual shutdowns and travel to other local sites as required.
• Mentor apprentices and support their development.

Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment, including conveyors and motors.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings.
