Summary:
Morson Talent is seeking a Senior Electrical/Civils Estimator to join our Net Zero - Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging business, serving clients across the UK. This role is pivotal in the design and delivery of EV Charging, Solar, and Battery storage installations. As part of our growing EV sector, you will assess bid opportunities, evaluate project risks, ensure tender document accuracy, and generate comprehensive project cost estimates. You will work closely with procurement and commercial teams to secure competitive quotations and assist in preparing and presenting tender submissions. This role also involves post-tender client meetings and project handovers, contributing to our journey towards Net Zero.
Skills:
- Estimating experience in electrical/ICP/civil environments
- Extensive experience in delivering capital projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of electrical infrastructure construction and operation
- Understanding of National Grid and DNO Standards
- Ability to build up rates from first principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- Strong commercial acumen and contract knowledge
- Organised with high attention to detail
- People management skills
