Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Manchester. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable electrical design solutions for a wide range of projects across multiple sectors including commercial, residential, industrial, and public infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines, architects, and clients to provide integrated design solutions that meet both technical and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or actively working towards it (desirable).

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering within a consultancy or contracting environment.
  • Experience working on multidisciplinary projects with a strong understanding of other engineering disciplines (mechanical, structural, etc.).
  • Proven track record of leading electrical design projects and managing teams.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power, lighting, fire alarm, and data systems.
  • Excellent understanding of current electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability principles in electrical design.
