An opportunity has arisen within Building Services, for the position of Senior Electrical Engineer. Working as a key member of the team, you will be provided with the autonomy to design Electrical services in many sectors of the industry and be client facing, representing the Company.

To fulfil this role, you will need to be degree qualified, or in the process of obtaining your degree (or equivalent), demonstrate suitable design experience in the building services sector (preferably across a variety of sectors) and be an effective communicator, both verbally and in the production of reports and specifications.

Key requirements

  • You will have experience in using recognised design software tools such as REVIT and ideally have exposure to MagiCAD
  • Have great communication skills that can adapt both to external parties and clients but also within the team
  • Understand project needs and be able to manage the full delivery
  • You will have recognised qualifications in Electrical services design and either be working towards Chartered Status, or have an interest in doing so
  • Experience of people management is desirable

Our client now carries out their projects in the 3D environment and are rolling out StabiCAD design tool across all offices. While a detailed knowledge of this software is not a essential (training will be provided) an awareness of working in a 3D environment is, as is a knowledge of cable sizing and lighting design software.
