My client is seeking a proficient Network Design Engineer with extensive experience in distribution networks design ranging from 400V to 11kV / 33kV.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, analysing, and optimising electrical distribution systems to ensure reliability, efficiency, and safety. Candidates with a background in building services will be considered if they have relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimise electrical distribution networks from 400V to 33kV, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for proposed projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and DNOs to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform load flow analysis, voltage drop calculations, and short circuit studies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with a Power / HV background.
- Ideally, MEng / MSc in Electrical Engineering with a Power / HV background.
- Working towards CEng status is beneficial but not essential.
- Enthusiastic, mature, and able to work independently in a diverse team environment.
