Position: Electrician (Domestic)
Location: Liverpool
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance within domestic properties managed by social housing associations.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly to minimize disruption to residents.
- Collaborate with housing association staff and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing residents’ concerns and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including job sheets, inspection reports, and certification.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrician, focusing on domestic installations and repairs.
- Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
- Strong knowledge of domestic electrical systems and wiring regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, residents, and colleagues.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the Liverpool area.
