This role can be based in one of three locations across the UK; Manchester, Oxford, and Hertfordshire.

Your new role
In this role you will oversee the entire product development lifecycle for satellite communication products, including the specification, design, and validation of products. Your key responsibilities will include detailed circuit design, effectively communicating with and directing PCB layout teams, delivering manufacturing work-packages. And finally, supporting integration, validation, and qualification processes.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a minimum of two years of experience in hardware product design, ideally with a background in satellite or payload equipment development. You will be adept at designing complex, high-speed circuits on multi-layer PCBs and proficient with various design and simulation tools. Furthermore, you will be able to demonstrate hands-on experience with microcontrollers, digital signal processors, high-speed interfaces, power supplies, sensors, and RF design is essential. You will show expertise in high-reliability system design, DC/DC power supply design, Verilog/VHDL, ASIC prototyping with FPGAs. Additionally, a knowledge of relevant standards and scripting languages will be highly advantageous.
