The role: A position is now available for a Junior Electronics Design Engineer to join an engineering team to work towards the development of a new range of industry leading controller solutions. Our client is an established R&D focused business, with a stellar reputation built upon providing cutting edge, industry leading products for the last 30+ years.

This role is for a Junior Electronics Engineer who has a relevant degree qualification and some industry experience, this can be as work experience or after graduation. You will be given the chance to work in a role where you will get experience across analogue and digital circuit design, PCB layout, circuit prototyping and test.

This role will be ideal for a Junior Electronics Engineer who is looking to work in a range of electronics disciplines with a keen eye for detail who is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment. You will be working in a small team so can expect plenty of variety in the role and chance to develop your skills quickly and with support from experienced Engineers.

Experience or knowledge of the following is required:

  • Digital and analogue circuit design
  • PCB layout and schematic capture
  • Circuit prototyping and test
  • CAD Design tools

Desirable experience:

  • Altium or Cadstar
  • Exposure to EMC standards
  • SMPS (Switch mode power supply)
