About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team. This is a field-based position, covering major counties across the Northwest of England. You will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and commissioning of a wide range of fire and security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and commission fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional)
- Service and fault-find on intruder alarms, CCTV systems (IP & analogue), and access control
- Carry out routine maintenance in line with industry regulations
- Complete reports and documentation accurately and on time
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
- Work independently and as part of a wider regional team
- Participate in the on-call rota and occasional overnight stays when required
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the fire and security industry
- Strong knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently
- Valid UK driving licence
- Good communication skills and a professional approach
- Relevant certifications such as FIA, ECS, IPAF, or similar (preferred but not essential)
