About the Role:
My client is looking for a skilled and motivated Security Engineer to join their team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, and Door Entry systems. You will work directly with clients to ensure their systems are functioning efficiently, effectively, and securely, providing them with peace of mind and protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, Access Control systems, and Door Entry systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks, diagnostics, and repairs on existing security systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Provide on-site training and support to clients regarding their security system operations.
- Work closely with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Ensure all installations and maintenance work complies with industry standards and regulations.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure high-quality service is delivered.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, products, and technologies in the security industry.
Package:
- Salary: 36,000 - 42,000 Basic DOE

Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role, with experience in CCTV, Access Control, and Door Entry systems.
- Strong understanding of security systems, including both hardware and software components.
- Familiarity with a range of security equipment brands and types.
- Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
