Responsibilities:Join our dynamic firewall infrastructure team as a Firewall Security Engineer! You will play a crucial role in executing build activities for our firewall devices using cutting-edge R81 configurations. Expect to:

  • Deliver project tasks with precision and on time, ensuring our firewall systems are robust and effective.
  • Conduct compliance and audit checks for new firewalls to maintain our high standards.
  • Collaborate closely with senior team members to resolve technical issues swiftly.
  • Plan and implement sophisticated configuration tasks, keeping security at the forefront.

Key Skills and Experience:We are looking for a technical whiz with the following skills:

  • Certifications: CCSE/CCSA certification or equivalent experience with Checkpoint Firewalls.
  • Networking Knowledge: Proficiency in Cisco Networks is highly desirable.
  • Hands-On Experience: Background in larger enterprise environments, with the ability to manage and implement changes effectively.
  • Problem Solving: Strong technical problem-solving skills, particularly in high-pressure situations.
  • Agile Familiarity: Understanding of Jira and Agile working practises is a plus.
  • Regulatory Awareness: While not essential, familiarity with regulated environments is advantageous.
