Sub Agent

We are seeking a highly motivated Sub Agent to join our team on a range of highway infrastructure projects across the North West / Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong engineering background to take the next step in their career and contribute to major infrastructure schemes.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, ensuring smooth handovers between day and night shifts, and maintaining programme schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
·Assist in the management and delivery of highways projects, ensuring safety, quality, and programme adherence.
·Understand and interpret project programmes, ensuring work is completed to schedule.
·Manage and facilitate handover processes between day and night shift teams, ensuring continuity and seamless project progression.
·Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and quality standards.
·Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
·Provide technical guidance and engineering support to site teams.
·Report on project progress, risks, and any issues that may impact delivery.
·Maintain strong stakeholder communication, working closely with project managers and clients.

Requirements:

·Civil Engineering or Construction-related qualification (HNC, HND, or Degree preferred).
·Previous experience in highways, infrastructure, or heavy civil engineering projects.
·Strong knowledge of construction programming and project schedules.
·Ability to manage handover processes effectively between shifts.
·Excellent leadership and communication skills.
·Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
·Full UK Driving Licence.
