Technical Support Specialist - Electrical and IT Systems
Location: Manchester

Are you an experienced Technical Support Engineer with a strong background in electrical and IT systems? Whether you've worked with office printers, specialist equipment in hospitals or clinics, or within manufacturing environments, this role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a leading technology company.

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our expanding Technical Support team at a global manufacturer of cutting-edge solutions in the security and automation industry.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Technical Support to customers and internal teams, both remotely and onsite, ensuring swift resolution of technical issues.
  • Install and configure software and hardware solutions, diagnose faults, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service - in-person, over the phone, and in meetings.
  • Support on-site visits across the UK and occasionally overseas to address complex technical challenges.
  • Manage technical escalations and collaborate with internal teams such as Development, Product Management, and Quality.
  • Conduct training for customers and staff on product usage and troubleshooting.


Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Electrical Qualification - 17th or 18th Edition is essential.
  • IT Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Windows, IP networks, cloud technologies, and general IT systems.
  • Customer Service Excellence - Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required.
  • Desirable (Not Essential): Background in electronics or prior experience with electrical systems.
