A brilliant opportunity for an experienced Air Quality Consultant to join a global leading multi-disciplinary consultancy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients such as: land development, transport, energy, local and national governments, multi-national industrial, funding agencies and lenders, property developers, infrastructure contractors and regulatory authorities.

Senior Air Quality Consultant Requirements:

  • Relevant degree
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience of a range of modelling and assessment techniques
  • Computer literate E.g. Excel, GIS
  • Experience of project management, reporting, and presenting to different stakeholders
  • Full UK driving license and flexible to travel to site
  • Experience of preparing emission inventories for dispersion models
  • Communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience programming languages, such as Python or R (Desirable)
  • Full member of the Institution of Environmental Sciences & Institute of Air Quality Management (Desirable)

Senior Air Quality Consultant Duties:

  • Desk and field-based air quality, dust, odour impact assessments for planning applications
  • Design and undertake air quality surveys, analyse, and interpret data
  • Produce air quality, dust, odour, and carbon assessments for a range of infrastructure projects
  • Identify solutions for mitigating effects of air pollution and carbon emissions
  • Emissions calculations and dispersion modelling
  • Support junior members of the team
  • Prepare technical reports
  • Support with bids and business development
