This is a great opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer, Engineering Geologist or Geo-Environmental Consultant to join an expanding ground investigation consultancy in the Northwest. With a specialist team of engineers and consultants, over 25 years in the industry and a variety of new projects to work on, you'll be provided with excellent opportunities for career progression.

The Geo-Environmental Consultant selected will be working on a variety of residential and commercial projects. You'll be assisting with site walkovers, carrying out site investigations, soil and rock logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, preparing phase plans and carrying out phase 1 Desk Studies, writing factual and interpretive reports and mentoring junior team members.

The Geo-Environmental Consultant role will provide:

The Geotechnical Engineer selected will therefore have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geoscience, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable), have prior experience as a geotechnical or geo-environmental engineer/consultant and have an ability to show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands on role. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, live commutable to Manchester and have a full right to work in the UK.
