We are working with a well-regarded sustainability consultancy in Manchester that is expanding its team and looking for a talented Sustainability Consultant with a focus on BREEAM and life cycle assessments. Your Role:
- Deliver and manage BREEAM assessments throughout the full project lifecycle (pre-assessment through to post-construction).
- Carry out or contribute to Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), analysing environmental impacts of materials and design decisions.
- Work collaboratively with clients, architects, and design teams to meet sustainability goals.
- Compile and submit documentation and evidence for BREEAM certification.
- Stay up to date with the latest sustainability standards, legislation, and best practices.
- Provide guidance and advice on environmental design strategies.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience conducting or supporting Life Cycle Assessments (using tools such as OneClick LCA or similar) and BREEAM assessments
- 2+ years' experience in sustainability consulting or a related role in the built environment.
- Strong knowledge of sustainable design principles and environmental certification processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A relevant degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Architecture, or Engineering.
- BREEAM AP/Assessor accreditation is advantageous but not essential.
