This position presents a unique opportunity to work with a leading fresh produce distribution company, making a significant impact on health and safety initiatives across sites in the North-West.
What can you expect in this role?
- Provide leadership, coaching, and subject-matter expertise to build a strong health and safety culture across the sites in Manchester, Liverpool, Wakefield, Bradford, and Nottingham.
- Ensure the site's compliance with UK health and safety legislation while supporting the broader UK health and safety strategy.
- Engage with staff at all levels to raise awareness and drive a commitment to health and safety.
- Oversee regular audits and inspections, assessing performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Work with key internal and external stakeholders including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies.

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar Health and Safety role, ideally within a logistics, warehousing, or distribution environment.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and IOSH membership (or working towards) preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to health and safety.
