THE COMPANY

This fantastic full-service exhibition design & build agency boasts clients ranging from small enterprises to global brands across a huge range of sectors.  Their diverse projects range from building a creative pop-up shop to a bespoke exhibition stand, all the way through to designing an entire exhibition, with their brand being a household name in the events industry

As one of the UKs fastest growing full-service exhibition design and build agency, our client provides innovative custom design and installation services. Working with both exhibition organisers and event agencies, they boast an 85,000 sq. foot warehouse allowing them to provide all services under one roof, with no project being too large. With a team comprised of valued experts in the industry, they deliver projects to the highest possible standard whilst also offering the best possible value to their clients.

THE ROLE

Due to impressive business growth, they are now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their exhibition design & build division drive forward the momentum of the company.

Key responsibilities will include:

-          Building and nurturing your own portfolio of accounts

-          Outbound sales calls to international prospects

-          Networking at industry events

-          Proactively seeking and securing leads

-          Handling incoming enquiries and taking briefs

-          Providing support to the wider team

-          Conducting market research to identify opportunities

-          Developing and maintaining key client relationships

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales in the events industry, ideally from within an exhibition design & build company. Excellent client relationship skills and a strong commercial mindset will be essential, as well as the ability to manage your own time independently while still working well within a team. A proactive approach to business development will be an integral part of this role, with the ability to qualify and secure leads across multiple sectors.

A full UK driving license will be required for this role, as you will be required to travel to events across the UK and internationally.
