WHAT WILL YOU GET UP TO?

  • Respond promptly to inquiries, offering bespoke solutions and collaborating with clients to negotiate terms and pricing.
  • Follow and convert the enquiry in line with the Group & Events procedure, including follow-up calls, site tours, and utilisation of pre-agreed concessions.
  • Process contracts and deposits according to the schedule, right through to the final bill.
  • Plan the event with the customer up until the event day, ensuring a comprehensive handover with the operations team for a seamless experience.
  • Optimise diary availability in line with the sales strategy.
  • Identify and proactively engage potential group and event clients, including corporate accounts, tour operators, and event planners, to generate new business.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the hotels offerings and the competitive landscape.
  • Implement targeted sales strategies to boost group and event bookings and revenue.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business through exceptional service, follow-ups, and tailored offers.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to create special offers and packages for group and event bookings, ensuring alignment with the overall sales strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a database of potential group leads, tracking them for efficient follow-up.
  • Gather client feedback to continually improve satisfaction.
  • Utilise and maximise brand tools and resources to enhance the brands contribution.

YOUR DNA:

  • Strong background in hotel events sales or operations.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a knack for supporting and inspiring teams.
  • A customer-focused mindset and the ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders.
  • Passion for exceptional service and a love for the hospitality industry.
  • Skilled in cross-department collaboration to deliver unforgettable guest experiences.
