Project Manager for Large Scale Events & Exhibitions

Location - Office based South Manchester - clients and events across UK, Europe and USA

Salary £50k-£55k plus performance related bonus, expenses and mileage

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in the large-scale event industry - this client doesn't deal with your standard award dinners and conferences; we are talking big events/exhibitions. Hand in hand with working for a client such as ours, there will be travel involved - mainly in London and other parts of the UK, but once or twice a month, travel will be to Europe or the USA.

As the Project Manager, you will take over from the sales team when the deal is signed and sealed where you will be responsible for taking ownership of the event from set up to completion. This will include dealing with 3rd party equipment hire suppliers, booking freelancers, direct client engagement, planning and coordinating.

Duties:

- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of exhibitions and events, ensuring all elements are delivered on time and within budget- Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure all details are captured- Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors- Source and coordinate event logistics including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and accommodations- Oversee Exhibition builds around the world from start to finish- Coordinate with internal teams and directors to ensure seamless event execution- Provide on-site event management and troubleshoot any issues that may arise- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
