Streetworks Planner


Our Role

As a Streetworks Planner, you will support both the Planning Manager/ Team Leader and the Operations Team, providing support to ensure that the companys work is effectively programmed meeting our clients SLAs and customers expectations.


Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to:

  • Plan work in accordance with SLA and permits
  • Maintain timely and accurate input and uploading of information into the works management systems, ensuring that all issues are recorded and escalated
  • Liaise with Supervisors and sub-contract teams to ensure programmes are delivered ensuring that all the client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner
  • Apply for permit notices, and identify street works issues and apply early intervention
  • Escalate street works compliance issues where appropriate
  • Liaise with local authoritys and client representatives
  • Coordinate with other 3rd parties e.g. Parking suspensions, bus stop suspensions, road closures etc
  • Provide a positive and innovative input into the team, through provision of solutions to problems and embracing change


Previous Experience

  • Ideally you will have experience working in Utilities previously
  • Experience in a planning / coordinator role
  • Ability to prioritise workload, multi-task and work under tight time pressures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Logical mind
