Key Responsibilities:
As an Executive Assistant, you will support senior solicitors on key projects, performing a mix of duties that include:
- General secretarial duties to senior solicitors and key stakeholders.
- Formatting, editing, and proofreading a range of complex documents.
- Diary management and scheduling meetings.
- Organising business schedules, travel arrangements, and itineraries.
- Providing additional EA support on ad-hoc tasks and projects.
- Liaising with key clients and providing professional support.
- Planning and organising meetings and events.
- Taking minutes during meetings and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Handling non-legal correspondence with clients.
- Collating information and generating reports for the department.
- Audio and copy typing to a high standard.
- Ensuring compliance is maintained by liaising with the compliance consultant.
- Client billing and ensuring timely invoicing.
- Maintaining accurate records, filing, and system access, in line with internal processes.
Skills and Experience:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or PA (experience in legal or regulated services is highly beneficial).
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with an eye for detail.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- A proactive, forward-thinking attitude, with the initiative to manage tasks independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- A personable and sociable nature, contributing to a professional client experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with case management systems (desirable).
- Exceptional typing skills, with accuracy and speed.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Office-based in Chorley or Manchester
