Our client, an ambitious and fast-growing law firm with offices in Chorley and Manchester, is seeking to recruit 2 experienced Executive Assistants to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

As an Executive Assistant, you will support senior solicitors on key projects, performing a mix of duties that include:

  • General secretarial duties to senior solicitors and key stakeholders.
  • Formatting, editing, and proofreading a range of complex documents.
  • Diary management and scheduling meetings.
  • Organising business schedules, travel arrangements, and itineraries.
  • Providing additional EA support on ad-hoc tasks and projects.
  • Liaising with key clients and providing professional support.
  • Planning and organising meetings and events.
  • Taking minutes during meetings and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Handling non-legal correspondence with clients.
  • Collating information and generating reports for the department.
  • Audio and copy typing to a high standard.
  • Ensuring compliance is maintained by liaising with the compliance consultant.
  • Client billing and ensuring timely invoicing.
  • Maintaining accurate records, filing, and system access, in line with internal processes.

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or PA (experience in legal or regulated services is highly beneficial).
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with an eye for detail.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • A proactive, forward-thinking attitude, with the initiative to manage tasks independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • A personable and sociable nature, contributing to a professional client experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with case management systems (desirable).
  • Exceptional typing skills, with accuracy and speed.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Office-based in Chorley or Manchester
