CREDIT RISK ANALYST

UP TO £35,000

MANCHESTER

This is an exciting opportunity for a Credit Risk Analyst to assess and provide insights on the performance of all lending strategies to improve the performance and profitability of the business

THE COMPANY

This is a retail business offering premium, sports, and luxury brands around the world. The business offers flexible and convenient payment methods across many channels, including buy-now-pay-later.

THE ROLE

You can expect to be involved in the following day-to-day:

  • Developing and delivering Management Information (MI) and conducting in-depth analysis on credit risk lending strategies, evaluating their performance against established expectations to ensure alignment with business objectives and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, while implementing robust controls to ensure that credit risk lending strategies consistently deliver optimal outcomes for both customers and the business, safeguarding operational integrity.
  • Proactively identifying, establishing, and nurturing key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration to gather valuable insights and drive continuous improvement in strategy performance.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working in financial services.
  • Experience in SQL and ideally Python.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ideally have exposure and experience working in credit risk strategy development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
