About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial aspects of the Fulfilment Centre. This position offers the unique opportunity to dive into costs, identify opportunities for improvements, and mitigate potential risks, all while gaining invaluable exposure and long-term career prospects.
As Finance Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing Fulfilment Centre budgets, forecasting, KPIs, cost tracking, and identifying improvements.
- Delivering accurate and timely forecasting, modelling, and scenario planning for the Fulfilment Centre.
- Driving cost efficiency initiatives and identifying opportunities to enhance profitability.
- Regularly forecasting inbound costs and analysing variations to improve accuracy.
- Providing insights to highlight opportunities for improvement and identifying potential risks.
- Producing high-quality data and detailed commentary for the Head of Digital Operations.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in an analytical role, ideally within retail or eCommerce.
- Part-qualified accountant or qualified by experience (QBE).
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to handle and analyse large datasets.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence in taking ownership of your area and delivering results.
