We’re looking for a Broker Development Manager who will drive growth by acquiring new brokers developing long-lasting relationships and maximizing profit opportunities. You’ll take charge of identifying and engaging new brokers, managing key accounts, and implementing strategies that will help us exceed our targets.
Broker Development Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead broker acquisition to hit sales, margin, and profit goals.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with brokers.
- Manage the on-boarding process for new brokers.
- Create and execute sales plans to drive new business.
- Attend events to spot new opportunities.
- Provide market insights and collaborate on product development.
- Report on progress, challenges, and competitor activity.
The Ideal Broker Development Manager:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the broker market (preferably in insurance).
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and sales skills.
- Excellent time management, planning, and project coordination abilities.
- Resilient, organized, and detail-oriented with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Able to work independently and thrive under pressure.
- A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Full driving license and comfortable with travel.

- Active management of the broker pipeline and timely completion of all scheduled visits.
