Role ResponsibilitiesAs an Audit Assistant Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality audits for a varied portfolio of clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing large, complex, and high-risk audits to a consistently high standard.
- Planning and overseeing audits, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Acting as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Supervising and mentoring trainees and semi-senior staff, supporting their development.
- Providing regular updates to managers and directors on job progress and client needs.
- Collaborating with the wider audit team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Candidate Requirements- ACA/ACCA qualified, with experience in external audit
- Experienced in working with owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors
- A strong communicator with excellent client relationship skills
- Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experienced in using CCH or similar software (desirable)
- Passionate about mentoring and developing junior team members
- £45,000 to £50,000 per annum
