Audit Senior Manager

Job description:

LHH is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable firm in Manchester. They are seeking a motivated and experienced Audit Senior Manger to join their dynamic and growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for a manager looking to take the next step in their career in a supportive top 20 firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit Planning and Management- Oversee the effective, professional, and efficient delegation, work-flow, and completion of audit assignments for clients.

  • Technical Expertise- Stay current with developments in audit and financial reporting standards and related matters.

  • Advisory Role- Provide advanced technical guidance and audit planning advice to clients.

  • Support for Audit Leadership- Assist Audit Partners and Directors in planning audits and local reporting tasks.

  • Team Management and Development- Lead and support a team of audit staff, helping them achieve their goals while fostering skill development and capability growth.

  • Client Relationship Building- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other contacts. Also acting as the primary contact for larger clients on day-to-day audit matters.

  • Efficient Audit Execution- Collaborate closely with the audit team to ensure all audit tasks are performed efficiently and in compliance with the Firm's audit policies and relevant procedures.

  • Firm Representation- Act as an ambassador for the firm by nurturing relationships with client personnel.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
